My computer was rebooting randomly, usually when trying to start fusion 360 or Baldur's Gate 3. I was also sometimes having games go framey suddenly, so I decided to get a new desktop gaming computer. So far so good. I still have to get everything reinstalled on the new machine, move my 4T drive with all my videos and photos and buy and install a 8T drive and get anything important copied off the 3 drives I'm not moving to the new machine.
I splurged, so I hope this machine does me well.
If I had had any indication of what was failing on the old machine. I likely would have just replaced a single part (best guess the power supply or the graphics card,) but the reboots were so sudden, there was no error correction. I replaced the motherboard and processor about 5 years ago. The graphics card was a 1060 from 2016 (though might not have been using it since 2016.)
