It's my first Christmas at home in a very long time and my first in the new house. I decided to get a full sized artifical tree. I had to order one on line because the stores were already all sold out. I lucked out and got a super discount on a fairly nice tree. I also decided to finally get my companion puzzle cube done!

The tree makes me feel inexplicably happy.

Went swimming in Walden for the first time in years. The water was perfect, though the pond was so swollen that there was barely and beach and my favorite beach was completely gone, but we found a nice spot under the trees with access to two breaks in the fence. We swam the short way there and back twice and then I did some kayaking and kept an eye on my friend who is on a swim team as she swam the long away. I'm in a very happy place now.

To take advantage of the glorious weather, Greg and I walked to Porter, went to Unos to take advantage of their out door seating. I'm completely happy.

Also the curry nan from trader joes is yum! .

I used manual mode today... rocks my world!
