I've mostly stopped reading facebook and bluesky and it has improved my mental health. Instagram seems to be ok. I'd really like a social media that encouraged short-form posts about people I know talking about their lives.

I'm on mastodon (wandering.shop), but rarely post there, and generally only responses. Posting about my life I'd rather keep to an site with decent acls, like this one. But then I fail to post here because writing long form takes time & focus, and short form feels too fluffy.

... though apparently I used to post short things fairly often. Hrm.
