why I like Blitzø

I've been thinking about Helluva Boss and why Blitzø is an important character to me.

Blitzø is a strong, skilled, outgoing character, who needs to relearn how to be loved and love himself. His journey is of both outside and internal forgiveness and understanding that he is worthy of love. He's flawed, but is trying his best for the people around him. It takes him a long time to understand the love people feel for him, but once he does, he values it. He's both tough and fragile; he can take physical damage, but his internal pain cuts deep. He's confident and insecure at the same time. He's pan and comfortable in his own sexuality even if he's horrible at deeper relationships. He's also observant about what his partner likes.

This show is something I would have never imagined enjoying, let alone being passionate about. I know some fans don't like how season 2 ended, but I completely love the last 4 episode arc and the fact that Blitzø and Stolas's relationship came back around, but because of Stolas's loss, is tempered. Stolas got both his romcom ending and also not. I love the fact there is still work there that needs to be done, even if they've come this far. This isn't a fairy tail ending, and I love that.
