Make an order on amazon/borders.com of one video game, apply borders giftcard to it, cancel order, then try to redo the order with the same game and a CD. Now the gift card won't work until the people on the phone make you do all sorts of stupid things (log out, click new user, then enter your password after it tells you "you moron, you have an account" then add the CD first (which I think I did anyway) have them tell you that it's the video game and of course it won't work with a video game and a CD cause borders doesn't do video games, what? it worked with just the video game? ok.) that really shouldn't work at all, but do anyway.
Well at least the order is placed. Tomorrow I'll know if the video game gets paid for by the gift card, which was the point of the experiment.
