crazy people in the corner bank

We went to get money at the corner bank (cedar and highland) and there was this woman there who was half spouting gibberish and half arguing with the machine. About 5 minutes into arguing with the machine, she starts peeing on the floor, seemingly without noticing. We left at that point without getting money. Hopefully they'll shampoo that rug soon.

Ew. I think I'd've fled at that point too. Did you call the bank to tell them about the mess -- or the police to deal with the person?

I wonder if the spouting was because she really really needed to pee, and it was making her excessively anxious, or if she was demented. If she wasn't competent, then perhaps calling 911 and asking for a medical transport would have been a kindness.

If the bank was open, I wonder if going in and telling them about it would have been practical.

It is really hard to know how much to interfere. I am sorry you were put in that position.
