As per the requiremnts to [livejournal.com profile] crs:

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you.

This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
- What I create will be just for you.
- It'll be done this year.
- You have no clue what it's going to be. It might be a photo, or a short story, or a covered dish. I might finally learn how to knit and foist my learning projects off on you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure!
- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you have to put this in your journal as well. We all can make stuff!

I'm added an extra catch, which is I get to share what I make with my journal. It will be personalized for you, but shared with everyone.

I was wondering exactly the same thing. Cat makes good stuff!

Since I don't have people crashing down my door, I don't see why not. The point is to have fun and be creative.

I'm always tempted by these, but I have no idea what I'd make for other people. The only thing I can think of that I'm decent at is cookies, and that would be hard to deliver to most of my LJ friends.

Well-wrapped cookies mail fairly well -- at least, if they're not a terribly delicate variety.

Knitting a network.

I make stuff for folks all the time, or modify things they already own and I am pretty sure it adds up to more than 5 a year. But don't add me to your list because I am not intending to update my Lj.

Once it becomes body memory, knitting feels good and has a calming effect, so I'm sorry you didn't take to it when I taught you the basics. I hope you enjoy it more when you take it up this time.

And now I get to insert the family joke: My grandmother (Nanny Bell) could knit -anything- . . . give her 150 pounds of steel wool and she could knit you a stove.
