Ice and snow falling from the neighbor's roof has destroyed our windshield.

Bummer. But IIRC all MA car insurance has no-deductible auto glass replacement, at least. Still that sucks.

If and only if you have comprehensive coverage. Which they probably do, but still (I discovered this when my car was broken into, since I didn't spring for comprehensive on my 17-year-old car).

In this case shouldn't the neighbour's homeowner's liability insurance cover it?

Oh no! That sucks... Perhaps I should park my car even further back.
That will be interesting if we ever have two cars as my roof seems
to shed icicles. (Which may also be related to the roof leaking today.)

Next time it's warmer, check your gutters?

Checking your neighbor's gutters is trickier, I agree.

It sux but at least you don't have to clean glass out of the upholstery. I am sorry your new car is suddenly not new anymore.
Parking under the carport would give it some protection, but then you might not get out of the driveway. Tough choices.
Even more motivation for me to clear my garage out so I can put a car in.

Huggles.

Gaah, that stinks. Though with luck, that will be easy for one of the various auto glass companies to replace.
