One of my favorite musical discoveries of the year is Tin Hat (formerly Tin Hat Trio). I'm enthralled with all of their latest album (The Sad Machinery of Spring). If I had to pick one track to call out, it would be "Dead Season" (with a bass line played by a contrabass clarinet!), or maybe "Blind Paper Dragon" (also with some awesome clarinet stuff). If you're a gothic Kubrick fan, you might like "Daisy Bell", too. =)
