Another question

I'm trying to make sure that my tmobile service will do what I want when I get the new phone and I'm having a bit of trouble testing it. Here's what I know:

• When I send a text message from my phone to lj, it posts.
• When I send an attached image from my phone to lj, it doesn't.
• When I sent an attached image from my phone to another email address, the image shows up just fine.
• When I send an attached image from my computer email account to lj it posts just fine.

So why isn't the phone picture posting when it clearly sends the picture? Anyone have any hints?

EDIT: Hm... looking at the support board, I found this:

"LiveJournal developers are aware of issues with posting photos through the T-Mobile service and are investigating. At this time, there is no estimate of when this may be resolved. I apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your continued patience."

This probably varies somewhat by phone, but I found that when I phone-posted a picture to livejournal with MMS from my v600, I got the picture, but also a bunch of annoying inline crap that T-Mobile's server added in: http://nathanw.livejournal.com/30219.html
