I know what you mean - i was SOOOOOO terrified to get mine out. I finally had to because i could not take the pain.

I have an anti-recommendation for an oral surgeon. the actual surgery was
totally fine, but the preparation beforehand was really awful and made me
afraid and freaked out and simultaneously acted like they thought I was
twelve years old and like all they wanted was as much of my/my insurance's
money as possible.
