piano!

As of 2pm today, there was a baby grand piano in the Somverille good will for $400. It was a little out of tune. They keys were all working, the soundboard looked good (I'm not sure if I would be able to detect warping.) The cover was a wee bit warped, the key cover was mising a bit. It wasn't a brand I knew and the finish was cracking. Other than that, it seems like a sound piano.

I would have bought it if I had had room in my house.

It is my understanding that pianos are one of those commodities that are often available for "free if you come and get it" if you're willing to wait for the opportunity.
