[video games] Material disappointment

So I just found out that spending $50 on WoW would give me a month of play time. That just isn't worth it. Now I'm disappointed. I was looking forward to playing for real with my friends, but I'm not sure I can justify spending more than $50 and if I wait, then I'll be too low level to play.

Oh well.
