boring post about grocery shopping

We went to the brand-shiney-new stop & shop today. The produce looked much better and some of the selection was better (like the deli salads, yum!!) but there were a few show stoppers, such as not having nicki's style of cat food and have a very small lean cuisine section.

Disappointing. I was looking forward to switching store brands.

Not when they seem to have taken the philosophy of "large cans of cat food just don't exist."

Why not go to the Shaw's one week and the Stop & Shop the next depending on who has better sale items?

cause we go shopping as little as possible and in as big loads as possible. we be lazy shoppers.

They've only just opened and will be trying to figure out the right balance of products for their area. I bet if you go find the cat food manager and make a request, it'll be there with the next shipment. In fact, NOW is probably the best time to make requests, before they get too established.

Maybe I'll go and skew their product mix a little bit. (mischievous grin)
