This "This is an object lesson" is quite ominous.

Any meme that has a terms of service is:
1) not worth my trouble
2) STILL A MEME!!! Sheesh! Haven't they learned that the only way a meme survives is propagation! They're supposed to promote the rampant spread of themselves over the whole of a population! Not provide barriers! Survival of the best adapted indeed...

So, in general, he's a man of Right Think. I always wondered why we have this obsessive predilection for specific tools. Why not just have one massively sharp knife for a job?

I, sadly, almost never watch the Food channel. The exception is of course for Iron Chef.

You should really catch an episode of good eats. I don't know for sure you'd like it, but almost everyone I know has liked it.

Of course, saying it doesn't make it so. The only way to transfer copyright is to actually sign a transfer. At worst, you could grant a license that way, but even then, something obviously sneaky generally doesn't pass judicial muster.

On the other hand, the advice to read carefully is certainly always wise!
