bells!

Last night ont he TV I saw the most wonderful bell choir: The Raleigh Ringers. They had these HUGE bass bells, these wonderful round toned hand chimes. They got a huge varity of noises out of ringing the bells or hitting them on the table or ringing them and then muting them on their chest. It was amazing to watch. Now I need to track down a CD of theirs.

EDIT: there are three on amazon! Yay!

I'd love to hear it if you end up getting the CD. I rang handbells for years and years when I was young, and still adore bells.
