Admittedly I've only had it for a day, but I really don't see GPRS being $3 a month useful, and I think that's sort of sad. So I'm wondering if I'm missing something.
What do you use GPRS for? Give specifics if possible, like if you use it to send MMSes, why are you sending them (ie, you have a camera phone and... etc.)
I can make my own wap pages now, but even that I can't figure out a enough usefulness to warrent the price.

Date: 2003-08-07 11:30 am (UTC)On the other hand, I don't pay an extra $3/mo for my service. At some point I managed to get a plan that included 200 minutes of voice, 300 SMS, and 1MB of GPRS, which is pretty much ideal. So I don't know if I would pay the $3/mo extra or not.

2) web browsing, as I have a smartphone
3) data connectivity (at least, when I had a PC)
If you're not interested in any of those, then don't get GPRS.
