Went swimming in Walden for the first time in years. The water was perfect, though the pond was so swollen that there was barely and beach and my favorite beach was completely gone, but we found a nice spot under the trees with access to two breaks in the fence. We swam the short way there and back twice and then I did some kayaking and kept an eye on my friend who is on a swim team as she swam the long away. I'm in a very happy place now.

Shane and I went with my parents last week and it was really wet and the pond was so high up from all the rain. But it was still awesome!
