helluva boss

forgotten_ariaSorry if I've talked about this here before, I can't find a post, but it feels like I've said most of this before.
I've been really enjoying Helluva Boss. I can't actually recommend it to people, however, since it is NSFW, crude, violent, sexual, and a little random. It has some Zim Energy (and in fact, has the Zim voice actor as one of the characters and vocal director.) It's done by the same creator who did Hazbin Hotel. It also has some of the most moving animation and acting that I've seen in a long time and relationship plots that are complex and motivated. I'm also finding that what I thought was kind of throw away things in the first 6 episodes were actually setting up the characters. (I feel like the first really good episode is 7.) Though there are definitely some filler that I don't like that much.
One of the things that I love best is a fan song that the animators and cast redid to make cannon, called "Just Look My Way," and it's just so lovely and moving.
The next episode doesn't come out until October.
I also find it funny that one of the characters, Stolas, is based off a demon written in an text from the 1500s who "teaches astronomy and is knowledgeable about herbs, plants, and precious stones. He is often depicted as a raven or a crowned owl with long legs" I'm just amused by a demon of astronomy.
