I went out to karaoke tonight with crs and some other people and well, some of the songs were complete disasters, but I did do a half decent, but not great version of Moon River and more importantly I really liked the how it sounded, even if it wasn't perfect. I want to sing torch songs! I want a band to back me! PLEASE, godofstupidirrationalrequests!!

We went to this place called do re mi in brighton. They needed their machines that played the Japanese stuff cleaned, and we got two disk errors and a few songs came up as the wrong song, but other than that, it was pretty cool. It was a little "private" room (you could definately hear inside the rooms from outside, but you couldn't hear between rooms at all.) Their slection was ok, but lacked in the way that most kareoke places do.
