My glasses arrived today. They are good enough. I do feel like I can do a little better on styling. The doctor said she backed off on the prescription a little to let me get used to them. I might also go for some progressives next time. It is really incredible what I've been living with though. I didn't quite realize how blurry the world was.

Anyway, opinions on what I got or advice on picking frames is welcome!

EDIT: I am having an issue that lights have sharp spikes around them (not a soft halo.) I ordered the AR coating, so not sure what's causing that. I hope it does not cause a problem while driving.

I like the first one better. They both look good!

Have you tried the cat eyed frames, or something with color? I wonder how you would look with a more dramatic pair.

What I've ended up doing is getting the frames from zenni and the lenses from a physical store. It costs me about $200 that way, but with my prescription zenni seems to have a 50% hit rate and costs $90 per pair so this seems like a good deal for me anyway. And it's certainly still an improvement over $450!

Frame #1 is a definite win. Frame #2 is a little small and a little dark, but still cute.
