I'm still struggling with the psychology of running. Running longer but slower doesn't seem like an accomplishment to me. It's not helping that running just seems to come so easily for most people who I talk to, especially those with long legs.

My C25k program also wanted me to pay for week 3, so I have to find a new app.

Running IME is rather more difficult for people who are short, round, and in need of really good sports bras. (IIRC, you recently found a good candidate for addressing that last issue?) Most people in that category don't talk (let alone enthuse) much about running. :} I spent a while (more than a decade ago now, bleah) being a little motivated and having a running buddy, and was very slowly improving, but punted when I stopped having a buddy -- for me, someone in particular expecting me gets me out the door, where "a group" that might be company but doesn't care who shows up when doesn't. Your motivation appears to be rather better. :)
