Jazz boots are a big win!

I played in the arcade today with the jazz boots and they are just he perfect thing for me! I love them. I wish that I could buy a whole lot more at $20, but I can't. Maybe I can scrounge around and find a few pairs out there for something affordable.

Greg accidently picked Healing Vision angelic mix, which is a 9 foot I haven't even tried before (the 7 used to quickly consume my endurance, so I've been avoiding it until I get a few more 9s under my belt) and so I was forced to try a 9 foot in the arcade. I surpised myself by getting 3/4 of the way through before just running out of steam. I could definately do it (on first stage) if I had the endurance for it. This is another data point that my problem with the arcade is I just don't know the songs.

After that, I was wheezing, so we did cowgirl on maniac to cool me down. It felt good to be able to do an 8 foot as a cool down song.

Next time I think I will try a 9 foot that I've passed before and feel like I have a good chance of passing again (like afronova) and prove that I can do catas in the arcade.

My Summer Love, I Feel, Justify My Love, umm... there are definitely some easier catas. Don't push yourself with HVAM or Afronova unless you just want to do those for bragging rights. In that case, just do Burning Heat and get it over with.

Of those you listed, I've only passed My summer of love, so I don't know about the other ones. (I should try Justify my Love again.) Remember that not everything that is easy for one person is easy for the others. Afronova was one of the first catas I passed and it was even during my USA mix marathon run. I likely find it doable probably because I've done it so many times on trick and it's just not that different (though I need to learn the different jump sequence.) HVAM was a mistake, pure and simple. I don't plan on try that again until I'm at least another half foot studlier.

Sadly the machine in the student center (which is much cheaper than the one at good times) doesn't have burning heat unlocked, so I have never seen the song, let alone heard Greg thumping it out beside me to know if it would be a good idea.
It will be at least 2-3 weeks before I get back to the machine. I'll see what strickes my fancy then, and do Afronova again at home to make sure I'm not missremembering it.

It's too bad Do Me isn't on MAX2. That one is the easiest cata for me.
