cute little machine

One of our older server machines died (it's just the power supply fan, but because it had a cute little itty bitty case, the fan was both hard to get to and an odd size and the machine was reasonably old.)

So we decided to try this cute little thing:




Which is tiny, quite and affordable. So far (G's done the project of installing linux and moving clyde and out music server) it seems to be pretty happy with linux and seems to be a nice little box. Since it has a power brick, that should keep most of the heat outside of the case. It does seem to move air somehow, but it is super quite, which is a nice win.
