one more car story

The person who gave me the quote over email was Ray (the 'nice' dealer was Brian.) So on sunday I decided to look for information about Ray from Quirk Mazda, so I googled "ray quirk mazda" and happened upon this slightly... special myspace page. It was covered in playboy images, a personal ad like decription in all caps and pictures of the page owner's 6-pack. The description also included the lines:
I'M WHAT PEOPLE CALL A "NICE GUY" SOUNDS COOL BUT IT'S NOT. IT DOESNT ALWAYS WORK OUT FOR THE NICE GUYS! ( SUPRISE SURPRISE!!!) I'VE GOTTEN THE SHORT END OF THE STICK MANY TIMES." WHAT EVER DOESNT KILL YOU ONLY MAKES YOU STRONGER"

I was thinking a "nice guy" has his myspace page covered in playboy images? I was hoping that this was NOT going to be our mazda dealer.

It was the same Ray.

I was proud of myself for not snickering when I met him.

What's scary is that all of MySpace seems to be like that. Uh, I don't get it.
