a pounding at the door...
Jan. 15th, 2008 10:42 amThis morning we were awoken to someone ringing our bell and pounding on our door for several minutes. Greg checked the peephole and didn't reconize the person nor was he wearing a uniform. We were both not in street clothes, so I threw on my pajamas to answer it, being cautious. A very thin , white, man in a blue water proof jacket caring a shovel is standing there and he says, "Do you want me to shovel your walk way?"
Now he's been pounding hard for minutes now. Ringing our bell. And this is his question. I infact said, "You were pounding for this? No." I start to close the door and he says, "but I want to. The walk way next to the white car." I have no idea what he's talking about say, "You woke us up," and close the door.
I later peek out the window and don't see any snow near our neighbor's white car. So I still don't know what he's talking about.
He's now walking up and down the street.
