cripple ware and dumb down support

I don't know why this makes me feel so mad, I think because I feel lied to and cheated. I emailed tomtom's support about the lack of itenerary planning, despite their documentation saying it was there and they said it just CAN'T do it. But I know it can, since I've accessed that feature. I get the feeling that they wanted to put this out cheap, but wanted the more expesnive models to be much more attractive than this one. So they've purposefully hidden things that are there and working.

I kind of wonder if I should get an LE off ebay, which has a bunch of nice features for the same price, or if I should just take the attitude that this is good enough, I can access the features if I need them (in exchange for not being able to access some others) and returning it now would suck, given how badly I had to brutalize the package (which is their own damn fault!)
