No reference. I have a long explination that I should write up sometime. Part of it was "all the good names were taken." I think this isn't bad, though.
I'd decided that air was my element. It's something that touches many things, is important and sometimes powerful, but is also easy to forget it's there. It's invisible and often gentle.
There is no name for air nymph and the japanese for "small breeze through the leaves" was taken. There are very few air gods (many storm gods) and those that exists are commonly used words like aura.
Aria's roots as a word is air. It also encompases the music that is so important to me, even if I don't have a good expression of it right now. It also expresses my feeling that I'm not alone, but I'm also not a part of the whole. The problem is it's usally a solo, a very spotlighted peice, so I wanted an adjective that would tone that down.
Night is also important to me, but twilight, midnight, night, etc. were all taken.
Forgotten encompaces my feeling that I've lost most of myself at this point. I've forgotten how to sing, how to shine, how so soar. I feel like an echo in the ears, like something that no one can quite remember, a ghost, a spirit, a melody that when you try to listen to it, you realize it's only the wind through the leaves.
