Namco is soon to release (in Japan) a Taiko drumming game with drum shaped controller.

It's tempting me.

Taiko no Tatsujin has been out for like two years in Japan. I played it when I was there last summer. It was VERY popular.

Do you mean that they're releasing a home version? I hadn't heard much about that... I certainly figured it was too Japanese to end up being imported here.

Yah, the home version. PS2 coming out in October with a special controller. Was it a good game? Do you think it will translate to home?

I prefer home versions. It means less pressure to do well. (Cat want Max2 home version!!!)

$50 for the cheapest controller, $60 for the game, I think. I forget now. You can go as high as paying $1000 for a yamaha DXEpress drum kit as the ultimate controller (actually recomended by Konami.)
