Sleep number adventures

forgotten_ariaOne thing I didn't anticipate is that inner springs breathe. Air matresses do not. It is covered by a fabric pad, but I like to sleep warm, so I've been getting a wee bit uncomfortable on the matress. I'll be looking for a good matress topper, since some reviews have complained that this effect can cause mold and a remoable topper to protect it shoudl solve this problem.
The jury is still way out. I can't quite figure out how hard I want the matress to be and my sleep schedule is all messed up from Canada, so it's hard to know what's the bed and what's a week of being woke up at 5:30 and sleeping in and out until 9am. Greg has also not been sleeping well on it, but that's also hard to figure out if that's just caused by my return and goofy schedule.
I had it really soft the first night, to the point where the foam edges were dramatically different from the main matressed and work up on the sharp edge between the too. I tried it a bit stiffer last night, but I think I should go back down a notch.
