stupid brain

My kittens have hit a size plateau, and my stupid brain that doesn't seem to like to keep memories, has decided that this is the size cats are, such that when I visit full grown cats my brain says, "What, all cats aren't ferret sized? Those are monsterous," in the same way it said, "Wait! that cat can hear!" when I'd gotten used to Nwicki being deaf.

If it makes you feel better, every cat I've seen in the last ~4 months or so, excepting a batch of kittens has been Godzilla-sized. Way larger than any cat I ever dealt with before.

Like, I almost thought I should raise my arms in the air and make lots of noise so it wouldn't try to eat me.
