I shampooed my carpet today, not that one could tell
The murky water I threw down the drain ment I had some effect.
I have nice things to say about the low end hoover v2 for cleanabilty.
I'm not sure if another, more expensive device would have done better.
I hate having beige carpet.

Years ago, I replaced the carpet in my upstairs apartment with new carpet in a color named "shadow beige." For those occasions where beige makes too strong a statement, I suppose.

It was a mistake. I should have stayed with the original orange shag carpet. Because I have an orange shag cat.

I think there is some weird physics about this kind of phenomenon. I think a dirty carpet generates new dirt, because you can "clean" it, and all this dirty water appears, and yet the carpet remains apparently just as dirty.

At least, this is my experience.

This would be wonderful if dirt had some resale value, but by a cruel twist, this kind of thing only happens for stuff that is as free as dirt.
