Japan: the morning of the last day

Ow, ears are still stuffed up. Luckily Ume gum to the rescue. In the
air and the count down starts for home.
Before we left for the airport, we went to the drum museum which was
way cool since they let you play the majority of the drums exhibit
there. Mike and I did some impromptu taiko drumming with some neat
rrhythmic interplays. We got Mike's mom to join in too. It makes me
really want to join the Boston group. There was a drum made from a
human skull, but you weren't allowed to play that one.
We then went off to the airport and hung around there for a while. I
almost bought a solar powered wobble head, but decided I'd bought too
many things on the trip.
I then had an interesting desert with rice balls, caramel syrup, red
bean and clear jelly.

I had a really great time and I want to try to learn some japanese and go back there in about 5 years, see more of Tokyo and much more of Kyoto and Osaka.
My logs miss a whole bunch of just "wow" and little things that happened and were occluded by everythign else that happened in the day. My log is very food and video game focused, but that's because those were the easiest things to remember.
Anyway, that's it. That was my trip.
