Silly things and giggles

I had a great shopping around harvard square last night with bluepapercup, jencallisto and farwing. I forgotten what it felt like to be so silly, to giggle so much. I was in one of those moods where it was be silly or mope, so being silly was definately the better of the two. And for the first time in a long while I wasn't the one embrassing the entire group, because mostly, the entire group was embarassing eachother, well, an maybe the refined jencallisto who was enjoying it anyway.

Then some more wonderful people joined us for dinner. jadia and I had a Kanji memory spree on a napkin (well, she was remember the Chinese characters I was remembering Kanji, which for the basic characters we were dealing there were no differences) and I found out how much of my kana and kanji I've forgotten. I really need to get moving on relearning all that. At the end we showed the napkin with all our false starts on characters to jencallisto whose Chinese is much more up to date and she was amused.

I'm so glad that I forced myself out of the house. Earlier that afternoon I wanted to cancel all the plans for that day, but I didn't, because I don't see people enough and I need to take the rare opperunities I can get, and I'm glad I did. It was a wonderful evening all around.
