Taiko recital

My taiko recidal is next week. I just came from practice and I'm tired. I get to play a bigger drum than everyone else during one part! It sounds sooooooooo cool! Other than that, it will be mostly like the last recital, but you should come anyway, since it's at the same place as the lessons, so you can see the room I've been practicing in, plus it sounds like the members will be trying some new stuff, using the relaxed audience to push themselves.

There is sometimes parking in the lot across from the Center and there is street parking one or two blocks away down the side streets. If you turn onto the street next to the center and go looking down the side streets there.

[kitten] usless kitten update, unless you're in the market for a collar

we bought the kittens personalized embrodiered collars on the theory that they were also most the same price as an engraved tag and tags can fall off collars, but if they slip their collor the tags are lost anyway. I think that I like them, except the underlying collar is kind of cheap. The break away is better than the stop gap collars we bought them, but connecting it is harder. I still really like the petco break away collar best, if I were just getting a collar.
