the daily show idea

So I just had a friend tell me that 1) she has tickets to see the Daily Show this Wednesday that her mother got for her ball calling in October or Noveber, so if I wanted them for my birthday, I woudl have to call now 2) they over book, so you have to wait in line for 3 hours, likely outside in teh freezing cold, to get in even if you do have tickets.

So I think that the Daily Show idea for my B-day will die now, but possibly I should phone sometime when waiting in line will be in summer, avoiding the heat of summer.
