Silly things

So instead of shopping or finishing my over due writing assignment, I redid the ninja crab animation. This is the result:

It may not seem impressive, but getting that animation below 40k was a brute. Anyway, I'm probably never going to use the icon, since I like to avoid animated icons in general, however I

• learned how to get frame grabs from dvd
  
• learned how bad gifsicle's animated gif optimizer is
  
• learned new gimp techniques for hand optimizing gifs
  

So as much as I shouldn't have been doing it, at least I learned some new stuff.
