Amazon made the 40 GB rio karma disappear and rio's costumer support hasn't gottne back to me.

I guess it won't exist for a long time now.

No official announcement of the 40 was ever made, fwiw, but we keep waiting for the other shoe to fall because of this comment from a Rio employee.
