I spent the evening with an old friend, who despite being in the area, I haven't seen twice in the past three+ years. We went to see Tereus in Fragments: A Lost Play of Sophocles which featured one of the Odaiko New England taiko drummers, who are the people who did the class I attended. It was a marvolous play. The sirens had the best costumes (as stylized versions of sirens). The taiko was great. There was even this marvolous section where the sirens did taiko-esque drumming with rocks against the floor. Very cool. There was so much that was right with the play.

I also spent a lot of time both before and after showing her my silly bemani games, which is always fun.

when did you take the class? I took a class during the winter of '00.. I really enjoyed it. I was tempted to try to join their group after the class ended, but I didn't think I could commit the time.

still, I'm thinking about taking the class again sometime..
