Japan

All these people are having/had adventures in Japan! I want to go. First step, passport is done, though a bit late. Second step, money, well I should have enough by next summer. The last step: courage. Thats goign to be tough. I missed my chance ot visit someone I knew there this summer. I don't have anyone to go the, but I REALLY want to go. I wonder how I can make it less scary, besides learning more Japanese.

I've never travelled anywhere where I didn't know someone there or was part of a tour. I'm not usre tha tI could afford a tour this time, nor would a tour let me see al lthe things I would like to see in Japan. (How many tours let you wander off to play the Japanese video games?) Oh well, I have 6+ months to figure this all out.

guidebooks, youth hostels, and a backpack are often the best way to see somewhere anyway. it'll be fun!
