Am I allowed to enjoy the day my friend leaves the state?

Yesterday I had planned to write this long lement about how when freinds go away, it's never the same when they got back, because crs left the state.

But today was one of my best days ever. On top of getting the show, on top of passing a 10 foot DDR song (even if it was just 桜), I had the best Jazz band ever, playing the snare and we sounded really good and groving. We played A train, which I actually know, as well as our other stuff. They forced me to do drum solos, which was a bit disasterous, but I'm glad they did.

Then I spent the evening playing Ricochet Robot and ricochet spinning CD coasters of doom.

Am I allowed to enjoy this day this much?
