And the cliff shouted back...
May. 15th, 2002 10:41 pmI stand on the brink of a large canyon. I fill my lungs with air and call out into the depths. A few seconds later my voice fills my ears and I smile. I start to step away when a low howl starts far away. The dust and leaves dance around me as a wind starts and then grows stronger. I'm in the middle of a tornado of amplified echos of my voice. I through my arms up to protect myself, but the winds beat me down and soon I am on my knees. I peak from behind my arms to look for some escape and soon as I lay my eyes on the winds they die, evaporated by closer inspection. My face is still scared by the pain of the bombardment.
