Online pick up

Want to document this for future-cat.

We got online pick up for the first time today. I think online groceries works better for people who aren't picky about their food.

The woman loading my car mask had fallen bellow her nose. It was a paper PPE I think it was actually that it didn't fit right, rather than her active choice to wear it like that.

Mostly it was ok, any maybe it would be good for impulse things, but for our full load, it didn't work great. If I had been shopping I could have found substitutions that would have been ok, but I didn't trust them to know what was ok and what wasn't. It mostly worked. The big failures were: I ordered 3 kinds of fake ice cream and some popsicles and didn't get any of them. We got hamburger buns, but no frozen hamburgers. I got 5x as much ginger root as I really needed.

Good option to have, of course.
