I made a main channel video last week. I didn't post about it yet because I was hoping I would make more, but I'm still being controlled by my "not good enough." And it really isn't that great a video, but the whole point is for me to create, get into the swing of creating and get better at creating.
I even got myself a drum pad and haven't even opened it to play with it.
It would be so much easier doing this FOR someone, but until I create interesting stuff, I have as many haters as audience.
I had a really good idea the internet hadn't thought of, but my ability to write scanning lyrics to existing songs is not very good.
I also had an annoying customer service issue with corel. My new camera came with a copy of corel's video editor, which given my current video editor is so annoyingly slow I was thinking of looking into new one, but the corel one crashes 100% of the time when I use a feature, so I contacted them. They asked me to reset it (have your turned it off and back on again) and then wanted me to send a WinAudit report. This would have send a list of every single piece of software I had installed on the machine, plus a whole bunch of other things that I consider a breach of privacy (and really, someone having a list of every program you run is also a security issue too.) Do they have a debug mode or a crash report for their software? No, the 2nd step in their escalation is asking you to send them everything about your computer. That's just not ok, so I'm pretty annoyed at corel.
( as promised, video under cut, but it's not very good. )
