Bench press

I was the only one in crossfit class today so I got some time to work on my bench press with the instructor there to help me. I was disappointed by my one rep max only being 95lbs, since when I do a push up on the scale, it says 130lbs and while I know bench is harder than a push up, I can do many push ups before getting tired.

Something I will hopefully get stronger with.

I bench press just about nothing -- don't feel bad!

95# is still awesome!! Bench presses are just a lot of work, thus take time. I’ve been lifting three times a week since February and my bench press is lagging behind everything else.

That sounds like a solid bench press to me. I'd struggle to lift 95 pounds at all (even in cooperative moppet form), nevermind with good bench press form.

Also, your good example is appreciated -- I know strength training is a big help for bone mass retention, but my motivation is lacking.
