car side note: confrontation

As a side note, I want to comment that first Friday when my relationship with that dealer first started I went ALONE prepared to buy the car by myself that day. This is a huge step for me both in personal confidence and ability to deal with a potentially confrontational situation, especially one as notorious as a car dealership.

I lucked out and had a reasonably (As car dealers go) straight-talking, respectful dealer, but I didn't know that when I went.

that's awesome! i keep thinking that i want to go buy a car, but it's been years since I bought my motorcycle and i do not remember how the process works.
