Yeah, me too. So much of the fun of Halloween was getting to wander around the neighborhood after dark, although one of our parents would always come along.

Huh what? I was just out in Burlington and Lexington, and there were many many kids out after dark, younger ones with parents and older kids too. In Lexington, I saw some sixth-grade age kids sneaking onto the school grounds of one of Lexington's elementary schools... if they're up to what we were up to as kids, there's gonna be a bunch of messages soaped onto the windows... Both my friend in Burlington and my parents in Lexington ran out of candy tonight.

In the past the "designated trick or treating hours" have been well before dark.
