twitter, lj, and real life
Jun. 23rd, 2008 09:24 amI've found myself not reading twitter posts. At first they even caused me to not probperly read lj at all, since they're always of the same format and I thought i'd caught up to old posts. I don't know why and I think it's a failing of me. I wonder if it's because I don't feel like it's been selected for lj or has even details to make the statement meaty of if it's just something new and I've gotten into that phase of life where new is scary and takes forever for my brain to not fear it. But then I miss information, since people don't post more about the twitter subjects.
That's a failing of lj that I've noticed for a longtime, however. On one hand it's nice to know more about my friends lives, specially since I don't get to see many of them very often, but on the other hand, it means that when I do see them, I have little to talk about because all my news has been posted here.
*gets out her torch* Technology bad!
