We took Kaylee to the vet for fluids a few times. They've been not charging us for the visits. Yesterday and today we tried with a smaller needle (a 20, vs and 18) at home. The smaller needle did seem to hurt her less, but it makes the whole process slower. We couldn't finish the treatment because she was able to struggle enough to pull the needle out. She has three more treatments before her follow up blood work, so we'll likely take her to the vet, which will likely be worse for her then if she could stay calm and let us finish the treatment, but we can't communicate that to her.

She's at least not holding a grudge about this whole thing and her weight is stable. All in all, not so bad.
