Eva foam armor update
Sep. 10th, 2019 10:39 amI got a real dremel, since the off brand burned out. I'm starting to get comfortable enough to use a low grit at high speed, which achieves much better results. I have given up completely on plastidip, because for whatever reason it makes the surface really rough. I don't think it's supposed to do that. I was also frustrated that my cricut didn't cut the foam cleanly. I need to figure that out before cutting the bracers. I think I still have a lot of learn about the contact cement too, since it's not quite working how I thought.
Mostly I wanted to share the shoulders. Each shoulder is 34 peices (not counting extra for the two halves of the horns or the fur.) I also had to go out and buy many different silvers before I found one I was happy with.

I'm hoping that what I've learned will make the rest a little easier, but I'm still not sure I'll make the whole thing in time. I'm leaving the boots till last, since it will still be fun to wear everything but the boots and I'm really hoping the boots are easier than they look.
I also have an idea for what I want to do next year. An original design of based on Artemis.
